What drives the number
Sometimes the equipment value exceeds our removal cost and you receive a check. On older, stripped or badly access-restricted Northwood scopes, the removal cost exceeds the value and the project nets near zero or a modest fee. Safety and documentation
Safety is scope, not a brochure page. Crews working in Northwood operate to NFPA 70E for arc-flash boundaries and PPE, follow OSHA 1910.147 lockout and tagout with our own locks and written procedures, and hold a daily job safety analysis before the first bolt turns. We do not energize, test or operate your equipment — isolation is verified with your electrician before we touch anything.

Are you insured to work inside our Northwood facility?
Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Northwood. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Northwood?
Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Northwood are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.
What happens to the equipment after you buy it?
Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.
Do you buy equipment that is still energized and in service?

It is routine. Switchgear sections, transformers and gensets frequently have to be cut down or partially disassembled to clear a door width, an elevator limit or a stair turn. Will you take the equipment we cannot sell along with the good items?
