Selling Industrial Electrical Equipment in Temperance, MI

We are a direct buyer, not a broker. In Temperance that distinction shows up on the dock: a broker's number is a guess that gets revised once their buyer sees the gear. Our offer is written against your nameplate photos and counts, itemized line by line, and it holds. We fund it ourselves and pay before the load moves.

Plate 01

Buying electrical equipment in Temperance

Temperance sits in Michigan, where DTE Energy, Consumers Energy, Lansing BWL feed the load and I-75, I-94, I-96 and I-696 carry the freight. Both facts land in your number: a site near those corridors costs us less to service and the saving shows up in the offer rather than our margin. Detroit, Grand Rapids, Southfield and Lansing are regular stops, and Temperance work routes with them.

Paperwork travels with the job: a certificate of insurance naming your entity, a W-9, a signed purchase agreement listing every asset and its price, oil test and disposal manifests where transformers are in scope, and weight tickets or a bill of lading for what leaves the Temperance site. Maintenance, EHS and accounting each get the document they need.

Plate 03

What drives the number

Sometimes the equipment value exceeds our removal cost and you receive a check. On older, stripped or badly access-restricted Temperance scopes, the removal cost exceeds the value and the project nets near zero or a modest fee. You hear which one you are looking at up front rather than halfway through the teardown.

Safety and documentation

If your Temperance facility runs permits — hot work, confined space, elevated work, site orientation, background checks — tell us at the quote stage and we build the time into the schedule rather than asking for an extension later. Our people are used to refinery, hospital and utility permitting cultures.

Paper you receive

Certificate of insurance before we mobilize, a written itemized offer, a signed bill of sale, and load documentation for every trailer. If your compliance team needs something specific, ask before we schedule.

Temperance questions

Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?

No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Temperance room is still partly live we phase the work.

How do you handle transformer oil in Temperance?

Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Temperance and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.

When do we get paid?

Before the equipment leaves your Temperance dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.

What if the equipment is old or has no test records?

We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Temperance equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.

Are you insured to work inside our Temperance facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Temperance. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.

Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Temperance?

Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Temperance are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.
