Industrial Electrical Equipment Buyers Serving Pullman, WA

Pulling electrical gear out of a Pullman facility normally takes three vendors: an electrician to de-energize, a rigger to move the heavy sections, and a hauler to get it off site. Coordinating three trades around one outage window is where these projects go sideways. We collapse all three into one contract and pay you for the equipment on top of it.

Buying electrical equipment in Pullman

Our Washington routing runs along I-5, I-90, I-405 and SR-167, which keeps trailer and crew cost predictable on Pullman projects. Utility territory matters too — Puget Sound Energy, Seattle City Light, Avista, Grant County PUD each have their own clearance, metering and disconnect expectations, and we have worked inside them. Aerospace, aluminum and food processing operations plus Bonneville-territory utility upgrades put large switchgear, rectifier transformers and MV cable on the market, and Puget Sound port access helps on export loads.

Once an offer is accepted in Pullman we schedule around your outage window, not ours. Nights, weekends and phased removals are normal. Crews arrive with their own rigging, skates, lifts, torches and oil-handling equipment, pull the gear, protect your floors and leave the electrical room clear for the next trade.

What drives the number

We do not quote high and renegotiate on the dock, which is the complaint we hear most often about this trade. If what our crew finds in Pullman matches what you described, the written price is the price we pay. If it does not — breakers already pulled, windings cut, a different model than the photo — we show you exactly which line changed and why.

Safety and documentation

If your Pullman facility runs permits — hot work, confined space, elevated work, site orientation, background checks — tell us at the quote stage and we build the time into the schedule rather than asking for an extension later. Our people are used to refinery, hospital and utility permitting cultures.

Paper you receive

Certificate of insurance before we mobilize, a written itemized offer, a signed bill of sale, and load documentation for every trailer. If your compliance team needs something specific, ask before we schedule.

Pullman questions

What is the smallest job you will take in Pullman?

A single transformer, one switchgear section, a pallet of bus plugs or a few boxes of breakers is worth a call. Because we route crews across Washington continuously, small Pullman pickups usually get added to an existing run rather than priced as a dedicated trip.

How fast can you get to a Pullman site?

Written offers go out the same business day in nearly every case. After acceptance, typical mobilization to Pullman is a few business days for a straightforward removal and one to two weeks for a full plant scope that needs phasing, rigging plans or utility coordination.

Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?

No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Pullman room is still partly live we phase the work.

How do you handle transformer oil in Pullman?

Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Pullman and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.

When do we get paid?

Before the equipment leaves your Pullman dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.

What if the equipment is old or has no test records?

We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Pullman equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
