What drives the number
Copper is the floor under most of this equipment, and it is a floor that moves. Bus bar, windings and feeder cable set a minimum value we can always pay on a Metropolis lot; resale demand for the specific make and model is what lifts the offer above it. Obsolete bus plugs and discontinued panelboard interiors are the clearest example — unglamorous parts that plants cannot buy new anywhere.

Safety and documentation
Safety is scope, not a brochure page. Crews working in Metropolis operate to NFPA 70E for arc-flash boundaries and PPE, follow OSHA 1910.147 lockout and tagout with our own locks and written procedures, and hold a daily job safety analysis before the first bolt turns. We do not energize, test or operate your equipment — isolation is verified with your electrician before we touch anything.
Paper you receive
Certificate of insurance before we mobilize, a written itemized offer, a signed bill of sale, and load documentation for every trailer. If your compliance team needs something specific, ask before we schedule.
