Industrial Electrical Equipment Buyer for Davison, MI Facilities
We are a direct buyer, not a broker. In Davison that distinction shows up on the dock: a broker's number is a guess that gets revised once their buyer sees the gear. Our offer is written against your nameplate photos and counts, itemized line by line, and it holds. We fund it ourselves and pay before the load moves.

Buying electrical equipment in Davison
Coverage in Davison is run off our Michigan routing along I-75, I-94, I-96 and I-696. Coordination with DTE Energy, Consumers Energy, Lansing BWL on clearances, metering removal and final disconnect is part of the scope, not a change order. Automotive plant consolidations around Detroit put more MCC buckets, busway and unit substations on the market than anywhere else in the Midwest, and we buy whole plant electrical scopes there routinely.
If the Davison equipment is still carrying load, we phase it. Usually that means dead sections and spares first, then distribution as circuits are released, then the main line-up once the last feeder is isolated. The phasing goes into the offer so nobody is improvising in an energized room at two in the morning.

What drives the number
Copper is the floor under most of this equipment, and it is a floor that moves. Bus bar, windings and feeder cable set a minimum value we can always pay on a Davison lot; resale demand for the specific make and model is what lifts the offer above it. Obsolete bus plugs and discontinued panelboard interiors are the clearest example — unglamorous parts that plants cannot buy new anywhere.

Safety and documentation
Safety is scope, not a brochure page. Crews working in Davison operate to NFPA 70E for arc-flash boundaries and PPE, follow OSHA 1910.147 lockout and tagout with our own locks and written procedures, and hold a daily job safety analysis before the first bolt turns. We do not energize, test or operate your equipment — isolation is verified with your electrician before we touch anything.
Paper you receive
Certificate of insurance before we mobilize, a written itemized offer, a signed bill of sale, and load documentation for every trailer. If your compliance team needs something specific, ask before we schedule.

Davison questions
What is the smallest job you will take in Davison?
A single transformer, one switchgear section, a pallet of bus plugs or a few boxes of breakers is worth a call. Because we route crews across Michigan continuously, small Davison pickups usually get added to an existing run rather than priced as a dedicated trip.
How fast can you get to a Davison site?
Written offers go out the same business day in nearly every case. After acceptance, typical mobilization to Davison is a few business days for a straightforward removal and one to two weeks for a full plant scope that needs phasing, rigging plans or utility coordination.
Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?
No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Davison room is still partly live we phase the work.
How do you handle transformer oil in Davison?
Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Davison and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.
When do we get paid?
Before the equipment leaves your Davison dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.
What if the equipment is old or has no test records?
We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Davison equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
