Why we publish on projects
Everything filed under projects comes out of work we actually performed: a line-up we bought, a transformer we drained, a shutdown we scheduled around, a number we had to defend to a purchasing department. We write these notes because the questions arrive in the same order on almost every project, and a page answers them better than a phone call repeated fifty times.
None of it is written to rank for a phrase. The test we apply before publishing is whether a plant electrician, a facility director or an estimator would read it and recognise the situation. If a paragraph would not survive being read aloud in an electrical room, it does not go in.
If a note here raises a question about your own equipment, the quickest resolution is a nameplate photograph and a phone call. We will tell you which of these articles applies to your scope, and what your specific line-up is worth, before you commit to anything.
