Our Texas routing runs along I-35, I-45, I-10, I-20 and I-30, which keeps trailer and crew cost predictable on Houston projects. Utility territory matters too — Oncor, CenterPoint Energy, AEP Texas, Austin Energy, CPS Energy each have their own clearance, metering and disconnect expectations, and we have worked inside them. Texas is our largest market: Gulf Coast petrochemical turnarounds, ERCOT generation retirements, oilfield electrification and Dallas and Austin construction all move medium-voltage switchgear, transformers and generators constantly.
For Houston sites we quote two ways when it helps: a single number for the scope as it stands, and a line-by-line itemization showing what the switchgear, the transformers, the busway and the cable each contribute. Some teams need the lump sum to move an approval; others need the detail for their asset records. You can have both.

What it is worth
Copper is the floor under most of this equipment, and it is a floor that moves. Bus bar, windings and feeder cable set a minimum value we can always pay on a Houston lot; resale demand for the specific make and model is what lifts the offer above it. Obsolete bus plugs and discontinued panelboard interiors are the clearest example — unglamorous parts that plants cannot buy new anywhere.

How fast can you get to a Houston site?
Written offers go out the same business day in nearly every case. After acceptance, typical mobilization to Houston is a few business days for a straightforward removal and one to two weeks for a full plant scope that needs phasing, rigging plans or utility coordination.
Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?
No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Houston room is still partly live we phase the work.
How do you handle transformer oil in Houston?
Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Houston and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.
When do we get paid?
Before the equipment leaves your Houston dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.
