El Paso, TX: Complete Plant Lots Purchase and Removal

We purchase complete plant lots throughout El Paso and the surrounding Texas market — units still energized and scheduled for replacement, equipment already sitting dead after an upgrade, and lots coming out of a full plant closure. We buy the gear and we do the removal: one company, one offer, one certificate of insurance.

Complete Plant Lots we buy in El Paso

We treat Texas as one service area rather than a list of towns. Crews moving between Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin and San Antonio pass through El Paso regularly, which is why a single transformer or a pallet of bus plugs is still worth quoting here — we add it to an existing run instead of pricing a dedicated trip.

The sequence on a El Paso job is short. You send nameplate photos or a list. We come back the same business day with a written itemized offer and a proposed removal window. If you accept, we survey access — door widths, floor loading, dock height, whether the room is still energized — then mobilize, lock out, disconnect, unbolt, rig, load and sweep. Payment lands before the trailer leaves.

What it is worth

We do not quote high and renegotiate on the dock, which is the complaint we hear most often about this trade. If what our crew finds in El Paso matches what you described, the written price is the price we pay. If it does not — breakers already pulled, windings cut, a different model than the photo — we show you exactly which line changed and why.

Texas note

Texas is our largest market: Gulf Coast petrochemical turnarounds, ERCOT generation retirements, oilfield electrification and Dallas and Austin construction all move medium-voltage switchgear, transformers and generators constantly.

Questions

How do you handle transformer oil in El Paso?

Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in El Paso and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.

When do we get paid?

Before the equipment leaves your El Paso dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.

What if the equipment is old or has no test records?

We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price El Paso equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.

Are you insured to work inside our El Paso facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to El Paso. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
