Crews moving between Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin and San Antonio pass through Houston regularly, which is why a single transformer or a pallet of bus plugs is still worth quoting here — we add it to an existing run instead of pricing a dedicated trip.
Paperwork travels with the job: a certificate of insurance naming your entity, a W-9, a signed purchase agreement listing every asset and its price, oil test and disposal manifests where transformers are in scope, and weight tickets or a bill of lading for what leaves the Houston site. Maintenance, EHS and accounting each get the document they need.

What it is worth
Three things drive the number: condition, whether the equipment is still supported, and copper content. A medium-voltage line-up with current vacuum breakers and a recent test report prices as reusable equipment. An identical structure with obsolete air-magnetic breakers and no nameplate prices on its bus and steel. We tell you which bucket your Houston gear falls into before you commit to anything.

Questions
Are you insured to work inside our Houston facility?
Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Houston. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Houston?
Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Houston are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.
What happens to the equipment after you buy it?
Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.
Do you buy equipment that is still energized and in service?
Yes, and most of what we buy is. We quote it now and remove it on your cutover date. Telling us at the quote stage which Houston assets are still live lets us build the phasing and the clearance coordination into the schedule from the beginning.
