Atlanta, GA: Capacitors & Power Quality Purchase and Removal

We purchase capacitor banks throughout Atlanta and the surrounding Georgia market — units still energized and scheduled for replacement, equipment already sitting dead after an upgrade, and lots coming out of a full plant closure. We buy the gear and we do the removal: one company, one offer, one certificate of insurance.

Capacitors & Power Quality we buy in Atlanta

Carpet, poultry and automotive plants across north Georgia plus the Savannah port corridor produce a steady flow of MCC line-ups, busway and dry-type transformers. For Atlanta specifically, that density helps: crews already move through Atlanta, Douglasville and Savannah, so mobilization is a scheduling question rather than a cost problem.

Once an offer is accepted in Atlanta we schedule around your outage window, not ours. Nights, weekends and phased removals are normal. Crews arrive with their own rigging, skates, lifts, torches and oil-handling equipment, pull the gear, protect your floors and leave the electrical room clear for the next trade.

What it is worth

Transformer oil is the item sellers in Atlanta worry about most, and fairly so. We test it, drain it, manifest it through licensed handlers and hand you the documentation. PCB-suspect units are handled under their own waste profile. The cost of that handling is already inside the offer, so nothing surprises you after the fact.

Questions

Are you insured to work inside our Atlanta facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Atlanta. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.

Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Atlanta?

Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Atlanta are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.

What happens to the equipment after you buy it?

Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.

Do you buy equipment that is still energized and in service?

Yes, and most of what we buy is. We quote it now and remove it on your cutover date. Telling us at the quote stage which Atlanta assets are still live lets us build the phasing and the clearance coordination into the schedule from the beginning.
