Whittier, CA Industrial Electrical Equipment Purchase and Removal
We are a direct buyer, not a broker. In Whittier that distinction shows up on the dock: a broker's number is a guess that gets revised once their buyer sees the gear. Our offer is written against your nameplate photos and counts, itemized line by line, and it holds. We fund it ourselves and pay before the load moves.

Buying electrical equipment in Whittier
Our California routing runs along I-5, I-80, I-10, US-101 and the 405, which keeps trailer and crew cost predictable on Whittier projects. Utility territory matters too — PG&E, Southern California Edison, SMUD, LADWP each have their own clearance, metering and disconnect expectations, and we have worked inside them. Title 24 upgrades, refinery turnarounds in the Bay Area and Los Angeles basin, and aggressive PCB and oil handling rules under DTSC make California removals documentation-heavy; we quote the compliance work inside the offer rather than as an extra.
For Whittier sites we quote two ways when it helps: a single number for the scope as it stands, and a line-by-line itemization showing what the switchgear, the transformers, the busway and the cable each contribute. Some teams need the lump sum to move an approval; others need the detail for their asset records. You can have both.

What drives the number
We do not quote high and renegotiate on the dock, which is the complaint we hear most often about this trade. If what our crew finds in Whittier matches what you described, the written price is the price we pay. If it does not — breakers already pulled, windings cut, a different model than the photo — we show you exactly which line changed and why.
| Input | Detail |

| Freight | I-5, I-80, I-10, US-101 and the 405 |

Safety and documentation
Nothing leaves a Whittier site undocumented. Nameplate data is recorded as equipment comes out, regulated items like transformer oil and older capacitors are separated under their own profile, and you receive a reconciled report your EHS group can file against the original purchase agreement.
Paper you receive
Certificate of insurance before we mobilize, a written itemized offer, a signed bill of sale, and load documentation for every trailer. If your compliance team needs something specific, ask before we schedule.

Whittier questions
How fast can you get to a Whittier site?
Written offers go out the same business day in nearly every case. After acceptance, typical mobilization to Whittier is a few business days for a straightforward removal and one to two weeks for a full plant scope that needs phasing, rigging plans or utility coordination.
Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?
No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Whittier room is still partly live we phase the work.
How do you handle transformer oil in Whittier?
Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Whittier and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.
When do we get paid?
Before the equipment leaves your Whittier dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.
What if the equipment is old or has no test records?
We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Whittier equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
Are you insured to work inside our Whittier facility?
Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Whittier. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
