Raleigh, NC: Wire & Cable Purchase and Removal
Wire & Cable coming out of a Raleigh facility is worth quoting even when it is decades old. Condition, whether the model is still supported and copper content move the number far more than age, and we will tell you honestly whether your units resell into service or price closer to recovered metal.

Wire & Cable we buy in Raleigh
Raleigh sits in North Carolina, where Duke Energy Carolinas, Duke Energy Progress, Dominion feed the load and I-85, I-40, I-77 and I-95 carry the freight. Both facts land in your number: a site near those corridors costs us less to service and the saving shows up in the offer rather than our margin. Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham and Greensboro are regular stops, and Raleigh work routes with them.
Once an offer is accepted in Raleigh we schedule around your outage window, not ours. Nights, weekends and phased removals are normal. Crews arrive with their own rigging, skates, lifts, torches and oil-handling equipment, pull the gear, protect your floors and leave the electrical room clear for the next trade.

What it is worth
Transformer oil is the item sellers in Raleigh worry about most, and fairly so. We test it, drain it, manifest it through licensed handlers and hand you the documentation. PCB-suspect units are handled under their own waste profile. The cost of that handling is already inside the offer, so nothing surprises you after the fact.
North Carolina note
Furniture, textile and tobacco plant conversions across the Piedmont leave complete electrical scopes behind, and Charlotte-area banking and data facilities add well-maintained switchgear.

Questions
Are you insured to work inside our Raleigh facility?
Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Raleigh. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Raleigh?
Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Raleigh are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.
What happens to the equipment after you buy it?
Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.
Do you buy equipment that is still energized and in service?
Yes, and most of what we buy is. We quote it now and remove it on your cutover date. Telling us at the quote stage which Raleigh assets are still live lets us build the phasing and the clearance coordination into the schedule from the beginning.
