Raleigh, NC: Bus Plugs Purchase and Removal
Bus Plugs coming out of a Raleigh facility is worth quoting even when it is decades old. Condition, whether the model is still supported and copper content move the number far more than age, and we will tell you honestly whether your units resell into service or price closer to recovered metal.

Bus Plugs we buy in Raleigh
Furniture, textile and tobacco plant conversions across the Piedmont leave complete electrical scopes behind, and Charlotte-area banking and data facilities add well-maintained switchgear. For Raleigh specifically, that density helps: crews already move through Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham and Greensboro, so mobilization is a scheduling question rather than a cost problem.
For Raleigh sites we quote two ways when it helps: a single number for the scope as it stands, and a line-by-line itemization showing what the switchgear, the transformers, the busway and the cable each contribute. Some teams need the lump sum to move an approval; others need the detail for their asset records. You can have both.

What it is worth
Transformer oil is the item sellers in Raleigh worry about most, and fairly so. We test it, drain it, manifest it through licensed handlers and hand you the documentation. PCB-suspect units are handled under their own waste profile. The cost of that handling is already inside the offer, so nothing surprises you after the fact.

Questions
What if the equipment is old or has no test records?
We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Raleigh equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
Are you insured to work inside our Raleigh facility?
Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Raleigh. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Raleigh?
Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Raleigh are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.
What happens to the equipment after you buy it?
Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.
