Circuit Breakers we buy in New Orleans
Coverage in New Orleans is run off our Louisiana routing along I-10, I-12, I-20 and I-49. Coordination with Entergy Louisiana, Cleco, SWEPCO on clearances, metering removal and final disconnect is part of the scope, not a change order. Gulf Coast petrochemical turnarounds are the dominant source of medium-voltage switchgear, MV MCCs and large rectifier transformers in the state, and hot-work permitting is standard on our crews' scope.
Paperwork travels with the job: a certificate of insurance naming your entity, a W-9, a signed purchase agreement listing every asset and its price, oil test and disposal manifests where transformers are in scope, and weight tickets or a bill of lading for what leaves the New Orleans site. Maintenance, EHS and accounting each get the document they need.

What it is worth
Three things drive the number: condition, whether the equipment is still supported, and copper content. A medium-voltage line-up with current vacuum breakers and a recent test report prices as reusable equipment. An identical structure with obsolete air-magnetic breakers and no nameplate prices on its bus and steel. We tell you which bucket your New Orleans gear falls into before you commit to anything.

Questions
How fast can you get to a New Orleans site?
Written offers go out the same business day in nearly every case. After acceptance, typical mobilization to New Orleans is a few business days for a straightforward removal and one to two weeks for a full plant scope that needs phasing, rigging plans or utility coordination.
Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?
No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the New Orleans room is still partly live we phase the work.
How do you handle transformer oil in New Orleans?
Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in New Orleans and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.
When do we get paid?
Before the equipment leaves your New Orleans dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.
