Circuit Breakers we buy in Indianapolis
Our Indiana routing runs along I-65, I-70, I-69 and I-465, which keeps trailer and crew cost predictable on Indianapolis projects. Utility territory matters too — AES Indiana, Duke Energy Indiana, NIPSCO each have their own clearance, metering and disconnect expectations, and we have worked inside them. Steel mills in the Calumet region and automotive plants across central Indiana run some of the heaviest MV switchgear and furnace transformer installations in the country.
If the Indianapolis equipment is still carrying load, we phase it. Usually that means dead sections and spares first, then distribution as circuits are released, then the main line-up once the last feeder is isolated. The phasing goes into the offer so nobody is improvising in an energized room at two in the morning.

What it is worth
Sometimes the equipment value exceeds our removal cost and you receive a check. On older, stripped or badly access-restricted Indianapolis scopes, the removal cost exceeds the value and the project nets near zero or a modest fee. You hear which one you are looking at up front rather than halfway through the teardown.

Questions
Do you buy equipment that is still energized and in service?
Yes, and most of what we buy is. We quote it now and remove it on your cutover date. Telling us at the quote stage which Indianapolis assets are still live lets us build the phasing and the clearance coordination into the schedule from the beginning.
Our electrical room is in a basement with a tight door. Is that a problem?
It is routine. Switchgear sections, transformers and gensets frequently have to be cut down or partially disassembled to clear a door width, an elevator limit or a stair turn. The access survey at your Indianapolis site establishes the path before we commit to a date, and that cost is already inside the offer.
Will you take the equipment we cannot sell along with the good items?
Yes, and this is usually why sellers choose us. Cherry-picking leaves you holding the leftovers of the leftovers. We price the Indianapolis lot as a whole — good gear, obsolete gear and the scrap fraction together — so the electrical room ends up genuinely empty.
Do you provide documentation for surplus property or audit records?
Yes. Itemized purchase agreements, weight tickets, bills of lading, oil disposal manifests and recycling documentation are standard on Indianapolis purchases. Public agencies and audited facilities get the paperwork their process requires without having to ask twice.
