Houston, TX: Motor Control Centers Purchase and Removal

We purchase motor control centers throughout Houston and the surrounding Texas market — units still energized and scheduled for replacement, equipment already sitting dead after an upgrade, and lots coming out of a full plant closure. We buy the gear and we do the removal: one company, one offer, one certificate of insurance.

Motor Control Centers we buy in Houston

We treat Texas as one service area rather than a list of towns. Crews moving between Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin and San Antonio pass through Houston regularly, which is why a single transformer or a pallet of bus plugs is still worth quoting here — we add it to an existing run instead of pricing a dedicated trip.

For Houston sites we quote two ways when it helps: a single number for the scope as it stands, and a line-by-line itemization showing what the switchgear, the transformers, the busway and the cable each contribute. Some teams need the lump sum to move an approval; others need the detail for their asset records. You can have both.

What it is worth

Three things drive the number: condition, whether the equipment is still supported, and copper content. A medium-voltage line-up with current vacuum breakers and a recent test report prices as reusable equipment. An identical structure with obsolete air-magnetic breakers and no nameplate prices on its bus and steel. We tell you which bucket your Houston gear falls into before you commit to anything.

Texas note

Texas is our largest market: Gulf Coast petrochemical turnarounds, ERCOT generation retirements, oilfield electrification and Dallas and Austin construction all move medium-voltage switchgear, transformers and generators constantly.

Questions

What if the equipment is old or has no test records?

We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Houston equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.

Are you insured to work inside our Houston facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Houston. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.

Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Houston?

Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Houston are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.

What happens to the equipment after you buy it?

Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.
