Load Bank Buyers in Springfield, IL
Springfield facility and construction teams call us when equipment is coming out and nobody wants to coordinate an electrician, a rigger and a hauler around one outage window. We are all three, and we pay you for the equipment on top of it instead of charging you to haul it away.

Load Banks buyers serving Springfield
Chicago-area heavy manufacturing left an enormous installed base of Square D I-Line and Westinghouse busway and bus plugs, and Cook County demolition volume means we are in the metro nearly every week. For Springfield specifically that density helps: crews already move through Chicago, Elk Grove Village, Aurora and Northlake, so mobilization is a scheduling question rather than a cost problem.
Once an offer is accepted we schedule around your outage, not ours. Night, weekend and phased removals in Springfield are ordinary work. Crews arrive with their own rigging, lifts and containment, protect the floors and leave the room broom clean.

What we take out of Springfield sites
Portable and trailer-mounted units
Wheeled and trailer-mounted resistive banks used for generator acceptance and annual testing, typically 100 kW to 1 MW, with their load cable, camlock tails and control panels. Rental-fleet retirements are common and usually well maintained.
Permanent and roof-mounted banks
Fixed load banks installed for automatic exercise of standby plants, including roof-mounted units and those integrated with paralleling switchgear. Removal is a crane and controls-disconnection job that we plan on the survey.

Springfield questions
What if the equipment is old or has no test records?
We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Springfield equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
Are you insured to work inside our Springfield facility?
Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Springfield. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Springfield?
Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Springfield are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.
What happens to the equipment after you buy it?
Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.
Do you buy equipment that is still energized and in service?
Yes, and most of what we buy is. We quote it now and remove it on your cutover date. Telling us at the quote stage which Springfield assets are still live lets us build the phasing and the clearance coordination into the schedule from the beginning.
