Load Banks buyers serving Provo

Our Utah routing runs along I-15, I-80 and I-215, which keeps crew and trailer cost predictable for Provo projects. Coordination with Rocky Mountain Power, Provo Power, Murray City Power on clearances, metering removal and final disconnect is part of the scope, not a change order.

Documentation travels with the job: a certificate of insurance naming your entity, a W-9, a signed purchase agreement itemizing each asset and its price, oil or PCB manifests where applicable, and weight tickets or a bill of lading for what leaves the Provo site.

What we take out of Provo sites

Portable and trailer-mounted units

Wheeled and trailer-mounted resistive banks used for generator acceptance and annual testing, typically 100 kW to 1 MW, with their load cable, camlock tails and control panels. Rental-fleet retirements are common and usually well maintained.

Permanent and roof-mounted banks

Fixed load banks installed for automatic exercise of standby plants, including roof-mounted units and those integrated with paralleling switchgear. Removal is a crane and controls-disconnection job that we plan on the survey.

Utah specifics

Mining and smelting along the Wasatch Front and steel and chemical operations south of Salt Lake produce MV switchgear, large drives and portable substations.

Provo questions

Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?

No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Provo room is still partly live we phase the work.

How do you handle transformer oil in Provo?

Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Provo and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.

When do we get paid?

Before the equipment leaves your Provo dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.

What if the equipment is old or has no test records?

We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Provo equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.

Are you insured to work inside our Provo facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Provo. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
