Load Banks buyers serving Longview

Longview sits in Texas, where Oncor, CenterPoint Energy, AEP Texas, Austin Energy, CPS Energy feed the load and I-35, I-45, I-10, I-20 and I-30 carry the freight. Sites near those corridors cost us less to service, and that shows up in your offer rather than in our margin. Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin and San Antonio are routine stops and Longview work routes with them.

If the Longview equipment is still carrying load we phase it — dead sections and spares first, distribution as circuits are released, the main line-up on the final clearance. The phasing is written into the offer so nobody improvises in an energized room at two in the morning.

What we take out of Longview sites

Portable and trailer-mounted units

Wheeled and trailer-mounted resistive banks used for generator acceptance and annual testing, typically 100 kW to 1 MW, with their load cable, camlock tails and control panels. Rental-fleet retirements are common and usually well maintained.

Permanent and roof-mounted banks

Fixed load banks installed for automatic exercise of standby plants, including roof-mounted units and those integrated with paralleling switchgear. Removal is a crane and controls-disconnection job that we plan on the survey.

Texas specifics

Texas is our largest market: Gulf Coast petrochemical turnarounds, ERCOT generation retirements, oilfield electrification and Dallas and Austin construction all move medium-voltage switchgear, transformers and generators constantly.

Longview questions

Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?

No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Longview room is still partly live we phase the work.

How do you handle transformer oil in Longview?

Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Longview and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.

When do we get paid?

Before the equipment leaves your Longview dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.

What if the equipment is old or has no test records?

We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Longview equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.

Are you insured to work inside our Longview facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Longview. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
