Bel Air South, MD Load Bank Buyers
We purchase load banks throughout Bel Air South and the surrounding Maryland market. Load Banks buyers serving Bel Air South
Our Maryland routing runs along I-95, I-495, I-270 and I-695, which keeps crew and trailer cost predictable for Bel Air South projects. Coordination with BGE, Pepco, Delmarva Power, SMECO on clearances, metering removal and final disconnect is part of the scope, not a change order.
If the Bel Air South equipment is still carrying load we phase it — dead sections and spares first, distribution as circuits are released, the main line-up on the final clearance. The phasing is written into the offer so nobody improvises in an energized room at two in the morning.

What we take out of Bel Air South sites
Portable and trailer-mounted units
Wheeled and trailer-mounted resistive banks used for generator acceptance and annual testing, typically 100 kW to 1 MW, with their load cable, camlock tails and control panels. Rental-fleet retirements are common and usually well maintained.
Permanent and roof-mounted banks
Fixed load banks installed for automatic exercise of standby plants, including roof-mounted units and those integrated with paralleling switchgear. Removal is a crane and controls-disconnection job that we plan on the survey.
Maryland specifics
Federal, university and hospital campuses in the Baltimore-Washington corridor upgrade essential electrical systems on a documented schedule, which produces well-tested gensets and transfer switches.

Bel Air South questions
Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?
No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Bel Air South room is still partly live we phase the work.
How do you handle transformer oil in Bel Air South?
Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Bel Air South and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.
When do we get paid?
Before the equipment leaves your Bel Air South dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.
What if the equipment is old or has no test records?
We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Bel Air South equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
Are you insured to work inside our Bel Air South facility?
Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Bel Air South. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
