Plate 01

Wire and Cable buyers serving St. Cloud

We treat Minnesota as a single service area instead of a list of towns. That is why a single item in St. Cloud is still worth quoting — it gets added to an existing run between Minneapolis, St. Paul, Chaska and Rochester rather than priced as a dedicated trip.

Documentation travels with the job: a certificate of insurance naming your entity, a W-9, a signed purchase agreement itemizing each asset and its price, oil or PCB manifests where applicable, and weight tickets or a bill of lading for what leaves the St. Cloud site.

What we take out of St. Cloud sites

Feeder and building wire

THHN, XHHW and RHW copper and aluminum feeders from #12 AWG through 1,000 MCM, single conductors and multi-conductor assemblies, in conduit or free-air. Recovered building wire is the highest-volume item in most plant electrical lots.

Medium-voltage and shielded cable

5 kV, 15 kV, 25 kV and 35 kV shielded power cable, EPR and XLPE insulated, tape and wire shielded, single conductor and triplexed. Long unspliced runs and full reels can resell as cable rather than as recovered copper, which is worth considerably more.

Minnesota specifics

Iron Range mining, food processing and medical device manufacturing produce portable substations, MV cable and clean MCC line-ups; winter schedules are normal work for us.

St. Cloud questions

Are you insured to work inside our St. Cloud facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to St. Cloud. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.

Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in St. Cloud?

Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in St. Cloud are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.

What happens to the equipment after you buy it?

Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.

Do you buy equipment that is still energized and in service?

Yes, and most of what we buy is. We quote it now and remove it on your cutover date. Telling us at the quote stage which St. Cloud assets are still live lets us build the phasing and the clearance coordination into the schedule from the beginning.

Our electrical room is in a basement with a tight door. Is that a problem?

It is routine. Switchgear sections, transformers and gensets frequently have to be cut down or partially disassembled to clear a door width, an elevator limit or a stair turn. The access survey at your St. Cloud site establishes the path before we commit to a date, and that cost is already inside the offer.
