Sell Wire and Cable in Reno, NV
Reno facility and construction teams call us when equipment is coming out and nobody wants to coordinate an electrician, a rigger and a hauler around one outage window. We are all three, and we pay you for the equipment on top of it instead of charging you to haul it away.

Wire and Cable buyers serving Reno
Reno sits in Nevada, where NV Energy, Valley Electric Association feed the load and I-15, I-80 and US-95 carry the freight. Sites near those corridors cost us less to service, and that shows up in your offer rather than in our margin. Las Vegas, Reno, Sparks and Henderson are routine stops and Reno work routes with them.
If the Reno equipment is still carrying load we phase it — dead sections and spares first, distribution as circuits are released, the main line-up on the final clearance. The phasing is written into the offer so nobody improvises in an energized room at two in the morning.

What we take out of Reno sites
Feeder and building wire
THHN, XHHW and RHW copper and aluminum feeders from #12 AWG through 1,000 MCM, single conductors and multi-conductor assemblies, in conduit or free-air. Recovered building wire is the highest-volume item in most plant electrical lots.
Medium-voltage and shielded cable
5 kV, 15 kV, 25 kV and 35 kV shielded power cable, EPR and XLPE insulated, tape and wire shielded, single conductor and triplexed. Long unspliced runs and full reels can resell as cable rather than as recovered copper, which is worth considerably more.
Nevada specifics
Mining operations in the north and gaming and warehouse construction in the south create two very different markets: portable substations and trailing cable in one, switchboards and busway risers in the other.

Reno questions
How fast can you get to a Reno site?
Written offers go out the same business day in nearly every case. After acceptance, typical mobilization to Reno is a few business days for a straightforward removal and one to two weeks for a full plant scope that needs phasing, rigging plans or utility coordination.
Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?
No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Reno room is still partly live we phase the work.
How do you handle transformer oil in Reno?
Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Reno and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.
When do we get paid?
Before the equipment leaves your Reno dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.
What if the equipment is old or has no test records?
We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Reno equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
