Generators buyers serving Douglas

Our Arizona routing runs along I-10, I-17, I-8 and Loop 202, which keeps crew and trailer cost predictable for Douglas projects. Coordination with APS, Salt River Project, Tucson Electric Power on clearances, metering removal and final disconnect is part of the scope, not a change order.

Once an offer is accepted we schedule around your outage, not ours. Night, weekend and phased removals in Douglas are ordinary work. Crews arrive with their own rigging, lifts and containment, protect the floors and leave the room broom clean.

What we take out of Douglas sites

Standby and prime sets

Enclosed and open-skid sets from 100 kW to 3 MW on sub-base double-wall tanks or remote fuel systems, single units and multi-unit paralleled plants. Caterpillar, Cummins and Kohler move fastest, but every major engine family has a resale market and we quote all of them.

Mobile and rental-fleet sets

Trailer-mounted and skid-mounted mobile sets, including ex-rental-fleet units retired at high hours. Rental returns are usually well documented and mechanically honest, which makes them straightforward to price from a photo and an hour meter reading.

Arizona specifics

Semiconductor fab expansions in Chandler and Phoenix generate constant electrical upgrades, and the retired switchgear, unit substations and dry-type transformers coming out are usually in unusually clean condition.

Douglas questions

Are you insured to work inside our Douglas facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Douglas. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.

Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Douglas?

Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Douglas are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.

What happens to the equipment after you buy it?

Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.

Do you buy equipment that is still energized and in service?

Yes, and most of what we buy is. We quote it now and remove it on your cutover date. Telling us at the quote stage which Douglas assets are still live lets us build the phasing and the clearance coordination into the schedule from the beginning.

Our electrical room is in a basement with a tight door. Is that a problem?

It is routine. Switchgear sections, transformers and gensets frequently have to be cut down or partially disassembled to clear a door width, an elevator limit or a stair turn. The access survey at your Douglas site establishes the path before we commit to a date, and that cost is already inside the offer.
