Generators buyers serving Aiea

Aiea sits in Hawaii, where Hawaiian Electric, Kauai Island Utility Cooperative feed the load and H-1, H-2 and Honolulu Harbor carry the freight. Sites near those corridors cost us less to service, and that shows up in your offer rather than in our margin. Honolulu, Pearl City and Hilo are routine stops and Aiea work routes with them.

If the Aiea equipment is still carrying load we phase it — dead sections and spares first, distribution as circuits are released, the main line-up on the final clearance. The phasing is written into the offer so nobody improvises in an energized room at two in the morning.

What we take out of Aiea sites

Standby and prime sets

Enclosed and open-skid sets from 100 kW to 3 MW on sub-base double-wall tanks or remote fuel systems, single units and multi-unit paralleled plants. Caterpillar, Cummins and Kohler move fastest, but every major engine family has a resale market and we quote all of them.

Mobile and rental-fleet sets

Trailer-mounted and skid-mounted mobile sets, including ex-rental-fleet units retired at high hours. Rental returns are usually well documented and mechanically honest, which makes them straightforward to price from a photo and an hour meter reading.

Hawaii specifics

Ocean freight sets the economics on Hawaii work, so we buy in consolidated lots and schedule container loading around sailings rather than pricing single-item pickups.

Aiea questions

Are you insured to work inside our Aiea facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Aiea. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.

Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Aiea?

Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Aiea are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.

What happens to the equipment after you buy it?

Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.

Do you buy equipment that is still energized and in service?

Yes, and most of what we buy is. We quote it now and remove it on your cutover date. Telling us at the quote stage which Aiea assets are still live lets us build the phasing and the clearance coordination into the schedule from the beginning.

Our electrical room is in a basement with a tight door. Is that a problem?

It is routine. Switchgear sections, transformers and gensets frequently have to be cut down or partially disassembled to clear a door width, an elevator limit or a stair turn. The access survey at your Aiea site establishes the path before we commit to a date, and that cost is already inside the offer.
