Savannah, TN Electrical Buyers

Retired industrial electrical equipment in Savannah is usually worth more than assumed. A large share of what gets sent to a yard as scrap actually resells into service, and the difference between those two numbers is frequently significant. We will tell you honestly which category yours falls into before you commit to anything.

Industrial Electrical Equipment buyers serving Savannah

TVA industrial territory across Memphis, Nashville and Chattanooga runs heavy manufacturing, and automotive supplier consolidation regularly releases full plant electrical scopes. For Savannah specifically that density helps: crews already move through Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville and Chattanooga, so mobilization is a scheduling question rather than a cost problem.

Once an offer is accepted we schedule around your outage, not ours. Night, weekend and phased removals in Savannah are ordinary work. Crews arrive with their own rigging, lifts and containment, protect the floors and leave the room broom clean.

What we take out of Savannah sites

Distribution and control equipment

Low- and medium-voltage switchgear and switchboards, motor control centers, panelboards, bus duct with its plugs, transfer switches, capacitor banks and the breakers that live inside all of it. This is the bulk of what moves through our yard, and it is where obsolete models are frequently worth more than current production because nobody else can supply them.

Power conversion and generation

Liquid-filled and dry-type transformers from 75 kVA to 50 MVA, unit substations, rectifier and furnace transformers, and diesel and gas gensets from 100 kW to 3 MW with or without their paralleling gear and transfer switches. Running or not — we price a seized engine on its alternator and core just as seriously as a low-hour set.

Savannah questions

When do we get paid?

Before the equipment leaves your Savannah dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.

What if the equipment is old or has no test records?

We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Savannah equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.

Are you insured to work inside our Savannah facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Savannah. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.

Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Savannah?

Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Savannah are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.

What happens to the equipment after you buy it?

Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.
