Circuit Breakers buyers serving Lynchburg

Our Virginia routing runs along I-95, I-66, I-495, the Dulles Toll Road and I-64, which keeps crew and trailer cost predictable for Lynchburg projects. Coordination with Dominion Energy Virginia, Appalachian Power, NOVEC on clearances, metering removal and final disconnect is part of the scope, not a change order.

Documentation travels with the job: a certificate of insurance naming your entity, a W-9, a signed purchase agreement itemizing each asset and its price, oil or PCB manifests where applicable, and weight tickets or a bill of lading for what leaves the Lynchburg site.

What we take out of Lynchburg sites

Molded-case breakers

15 A through 2,500 A molded-case breakers of every major line, bolt-on and plug-in, with or without trip units. Discontinued Federal Pacific, Zinsco, Challenger, ITE and older Westinghouse frames are in constant demand for repair work.

Low-voltage power and insulated case

Drawout and fixed low-voltage power breakers — GE AKR and Magne-Blast lines, Square D Masterpact and DS, Eaton Magnum, Siemens — 800 A through 6,000 A, with electronic or electromechanical trips. Matched sets from a single switchgear order are worth quoting together.

Virginia specifics

Northern Virginia construction and data facility work generates switchgear, busway and generator volume, while Hampton Roads shipyards and southern Virginia plant closures add heavy MV equipment.

Lynchburg questions

Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?

No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Lynchburg room is still partly live we phase the work.

How do you handle transformer oil in Lynchburg?

Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Lynchburg and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.

When do we get paid?

Before the equipment leaves your Lynchburg dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.

What if the equipment is old or has no test records?

We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Lynchburg equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.

Are you insured to work inside our Lynchburg facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Lynchburg. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
