Motor Control Centers buyers serving Wichita

Wichita sits in Kansas, where Evergy, Midwest Energy, Kansas Electric Cooperatives feed the load and I-70, I-35 and I-135 carry the freight. Sites near those corridors cost us less to service, and that shows up in your offer rather than in our margin. Wichita, Overland Park, Kansas City and Topeka are routine stops and Wichita work routes with them.

Once an offer is accepted we schedule around your outage, not ours. Night, weekend and phased removals in Wichita are ordinary work. Crews arrive with their own rigging, lifts and containment, protect the floors and leave the room broom clean.

What we take out of Wichita sites

Complete MCC line-ups

Multi-section NEMA line-ups fully loaded with starters, back-to-back and front-only arrangements, with main breaker or main lug incoming sections. Allen-Bradley CENTERLINE, Square D Model 6, GE 8000 and Eaton Freedom line-ups all have deep aftermarket demand.

Buckets, starters and drives

Individual starter buckets from size 0 through size 6, reversing and two-speed units, VFD buckets, soft starters, feeder and lighting buckets, and the loose units sitting in your spares room. Buckets sell faster than line-ups and are the easiest MCC item to move.

Kansas specifics

Aircraft manufacturing in Wichita and refining along the Kansas Turnpike generate classified-area gear and MV switchgear, and rural cooperative upgrades add transformer lots.

Wichita questions

Are you insured to work inside our Wichita facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Wichita. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.

Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Wichita?

Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Wichita are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.

What happens to the equipment after you buy it?

Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.

Do you buy equipment that is still energized and in service?

Yes, and most of what we buy is. We quote it now and remove it on your cutover date. Telling us at the quote stage which Wichita assets are still live lets us build the phasing and the clearance coordination into the schedule from the beginning.

Our electrical room is in a basement with a tight door. Is that a problem?

It is routine. Switchgear sections, transformers and gensets frequently have to be cut down or partially disassembled to clear a door width, an elevator limit or a stair turn. The access survey at your Wichita site establishes the path before we commit to a date, and that cost is already inside the offer.
