Sell Motor Control Centers in Reading, PA

We purchase motor control centers throughout Reading and the surrounding Pennsylvania market. That includes equipment still energized and scheduled for replacement, equipment already isolated after a shutdown, and whole electrical rooms coming out of a building change. We buy it and we remove it — one offer, one crew, one certificate of insurance.

Motor Control Centers buyers serving Reading

Our Pennsylvania routing runs along I-76, I-95, I-80, I-81 and I-476, which keeps crew and trailer cost predictable for Reading projects. Coordination with PECO, PPL, Duquesne Light, FirstEnergy on clearances, metering removal and final disconnect is part of the scope, not a change order.

If the Reading equipment is still carrying load we phase it — dead sections and spares first, distribution as circuits are released, the main line-up on the final clearance. The phasing is written into the offer so nobody improvises in an energized room at two in the morning.

What we take out of Reading sites

Complete MCC line-ups

Multi-section NEMA line-ups fully loaded with starters, back-to-back and front-only arrangements, with main breaker or main lug incoming sections. Allen-Bradley CENTERLINE, Square D Model 6, GE 8000 and Eaton Freedom line-ups all have deep aftermarket demand.

Buckets, starters and drives

Individual starter buckets from size 0 through size 6, reversing and two-speed units, VFD buckets, soft starters, feeder and lighting buckets, and the loose units sitting in your spares room. Buckets sell faster than line-ups and are the easiest MCC item to move.

Pennsylvania specifics

Steel, chemical and rail industry legacy across Pennsylvania left an extraordinary base of older switchgear and busway, and Philadelphia and Pittsburgh building renovations add switchboard and riser work.

Reading questions

What happens to the equipment after you buy it?

Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.

Do you buy equipment that is still energized and in service?

Yes, and most of what we buy is. We quote it now and remove it on your cutover date. Telling us at the quote stage which Reading assets are still live lets us build the phasing and the clearance coordination into the schedule from the beginning.

Our electrical room is in a basement with a tight door. Is that a problem?

It is routine. Switchgear sections, transformers and gensets frequently have to be cut down or partially disassembled to clear a door width, an elevator limit or a stair turn. The access survey at your Reading site establishes the path before we commit to a date, and that cost is already inside the offer.

Will you take the equipment we cannot sell along with the good items?

Yes, and this is usually why sellers choose us. Cherry-picking leaves you holding the leftovers of the leftovers. We price the Reading lot as a whole — good gear, obsolete gear and the scrap fraction together — so the electrical room ends up genuinely empty.

Do you provide documentation for surplus property or audit records?

Yes. Itemized purchase agreements, weight tickets, bills of lading, oil disposal manifests and recycling documentation are standard on Reading purchases. Public agencies and audited facilities get the paperwork their process requires without having to ask twice.
