San Antonio, TX: Load Banks Purchase and Removal

Load Banks coming out of a San Antonio facility is worth quoting even when it is decades old. Condition, whether the model is still supported and copper content move the number far more than age, and we will tell you honestly whether your units resell into service or price closer to recovered metal.

Load Banks we buy in San Antonio

Coverage in San Antonio is run off our Texas routing along I-35, I-45, I-10, I-20 and I-30. Coordination with Oncor, CenterPoint Energy, AEP Texas, Austin Energy, CPS Energy on clearances, metering removal and final disconnect is part of the scope, not a change order. Texas is our largest market: Gulf Coast petrochemical turnarounds, ERCOT generation retirements, oilfield electrification and Dallas and Austin construction all move medium-voltage switchgear, transformers and generators constantly.

For San Antonio sites we quote two ways when it helps: a single number for the scope as it stands, and a line-by-line itemization showing what the switchgear, the transformers, the busway and the cable each contribute. Some teams need the lump sum to move an approval; others need the detail for their asset records. You can have both.

What it is worth

Transformer oil is the item sellers in San Antonio worry about most, and fairly so. We test it, drain it, manifest it through licensed handlers and hand you the documentation. PCB-suspect units are handled under their own waste profile. The cost of that handling is already inside the offer, so nothing surprises you after the fact.

Questions

What if the equipment is old or has no test records?

We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price San Antonio equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.

Are you insured to work inside our San Antonio facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to San Antonio. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.

Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in San Antonio?

Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in San Antonio are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.

What happens to the equipment after you buy it?

Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.
