Salt Lake City, UT: Circuit Breakers Purchase and Removal
We purchase circuit breakers throughout Salt Lake City and the surrounding Utah market — units still energized and scheduled for replacement, equipment already sitting dead after an upgrade, and lots coming out of a full plant closure. We buy the gear and we do the removal: one company, one offer, one certificate of insurance.

Circuit Breakers we buy in Salt Lake City
We treat Utah as one service area rather than a list of towns. Crews moving between Salt Lake City, Provo, West Jordan and Ogden pass through Salt Lake City regularly, which is why a single transformer or a pallet of bus plugs is still worth quoting here — we add it to an existing run instead of pricing a dedicated trip.
Once an offer is accepted in Salt Lake City we schedule around your outage window, not ours. Nights, weekends and phased removals are normal. Crews arrive with their own rigging, skates, lifts, torches and oil-handling equipment, pull the gear, protect your floors and leave the electrical room clear for the next trade.

What it is worth
Three things drive the number: condition, whether the equipment is still supported, and copper content. A medium-voltage line-up with current vacuum breakers and a recent test report prices as reusable equipment. An identical structure with obsolete air-magnetic breakers and no nameplate prices on its bus and steel. We tell you which bucket your Salt Lake City gear falls into before you commit to anything.
Utah note
Mining and smelting along the Wasatch Front and steel and chemical operations south of Salt Lake produce MV switchgear, large drives and portable substations.

Questions
When do we get paid?
Before the equipment leaves your Salt Lake City dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.
What if the equipment is old or has no test records?
We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Salt Lake City equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
Are you insured to work inside our Salt Lake City facility?
Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Salt Lake City. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Salt Lake City?
Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Salt Lake City are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.
