Denver, CO: Complete Plant Lots Purchase and Removal

We purchase complete plant lots throughout Denver and the surrounding Colorado market — units still energized and scheduled for replacement, equipment already sitting dead after an upgrade, and lots coming out of a full plant closure. We buy the gear and we do the removal: one company, one offer, one certificate of insurance.

Complete Plant Lots we buy in Denver

Colorado industry gives Denver projects a real secondary market close by. Front Range manufacturing, brewing and federal facilities produce switchgear and generator work, and mountain-corridor mining sites add portable substations and MV cable. Equipment that leaves your site frequently goes back into service within a few hundred miles of where we picked it up, and that is what lets us pay above metal value.

Once an offer is accepted in Denver we schedule around your outage window, not ours. Nights, weekends and phased removals are normal. Crews arrive with their own rigging, skates, lifts, torches and oil-handling equipment, pull the gear, protect your floors and leave the electrical room clear for the next trade.

What it is worth

Three things drive the number: condition, whether the equipment is still supported, and copper content. A medium-voltage line-up with current vacuum breakers and a recent test report prices as reusable equipment. An identical structure with obsolete air-magnetic breakers and no nameplate prices on its bus and steel. We tell you which bucket your Denver gear falls into before you commit to anything.

Questions

Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?

No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Denver room is still partly live we phase the work.

How do you handle transformer oil in Denver?

Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Denver and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.

When do we get paid?

Before the equipment leaves your Denver dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.

What if the equipment is old or has no test records?

We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Denver equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
