Denver, CO: Panelboards & Switchboards Purchase and Removal
Panelboards & Switchboards coming out of a Denver facility is worth quoting even when it is decades old. Condition, whether the model is still supported and copper content move the number far more than age, and we will tell you honestly whether your units resell into service or price closer to recovered metal.

Panelboards & Switchboards we buy in Denver
We treat Colorado as one service area rather than a list of towns. Crews moving between Denver, Colorado Springs and Aurora pass through Denver regularly, which is why a single transformer or a pallet of bus plugs is still worth quoting here — we add it to an existing run instead of pricing a dedicated trip.
For Denver sites we quote two ways when it helps: a single number for the scope as it stands, and a line-by-line itemization showing what the switchgear, the transformers, the busway and the cable each contribute. Some teams need the lump sum to move an approval; others need the detail for their asset records. You can have both.

What it is worth
We do not quote high and renegotiate on the dock, which is the complaint we hear most often about this trade. If what our crew finds in Denver matches what you described, the written price is the price we pay. If it does not — breakers already pulled, windings cut, a different model than the photo — we show you exactly which line changed and why.
Colorado note
Front Range manufacturing, brewing and federal facilities produce switchgear and generator work, and mountain-corridor mining sites add portable substations and MV cable.

Questions
Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?
No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Denver room is still partly live we phase the work.
How do you handle transformer oil in Denver?
Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Denver and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.
When do we get paid?
Before the equipment leaves your Denver dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.
What if the equipment is old or has no test records?
We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Denver equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
