Hampton, VA Electrical Switchgear Buyers
Hampton facility and construction teams call us when equipment is coming out and nobody wants to coordinate an electrician, a rigger and a hauler around one outage window. We are all three, and we pay you for the equipment on top of it instead of charging you to haul it away.

Switchgear buyers serving Hampton
Our Virginia routing runs along I-95, I-66, I-495, the Dulles Toll Road and I-64, which keeps crew and trailer cost predictable for Hampton projects. Coordination with Dominion Energy Virginia, Appalachian Power, NOVEC on clearances, metering removal and final disconnect is part of the scope, not a change order.
If the Hampton equipment is still carrying load we phase it — dead sections and spares first, distribution as circuits are released, the main line-up on the final clearance. The phasing is written into the offer so nobody improvises in an energized room at two in the morning.

What we take out of Hampton sites
Medium-voltage metal-clad line-ups
Complete 4.16 kV, 13.8 kV and 38 kV metal-clad structures with their vacuum or air-magnetic breakers still racked in, main-tie-main arrangements, incoming line and metering cubicles, relay and protection sections, and outdoor walk-in and non-walk-in enclosures. Current-production vacuum breakers are the single strongest value driver in this category.
Low-voltage switchgear and switchboards
480 V and 600 V drawout switchgear, group-mounted and individually-mounted switchboards, main breaker and main lug sections, distribution sections with feeder breakers, and service-entrance equipment with utility metering. Square D Power-Style, GE AKD, Eaton Magnum and Siemens line-ups all move well.
Virginia specifics
Northern Virginia construction and data facility work generates switchgear, busway and generator volume, while Hampton Roads shipyards and southern Virginia plant closures add heavy MV equipment.

Hampton questions
How do you handle transformer oil in Hampton?
Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Hampton and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.
When do we get paid?
Before the equipment leaves your Hampton dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.
What if the equipment is old or has no test records?
We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Hampton equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
Are you insured to work inside our Hampton facility?
Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Hampton. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Hampton?
Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Hampton are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.
