Equipment bought for a project that changed, spare gear ordered for a line that was retired, and warehouse stock nobody can account for anymore. New-in-crate switchgear, panelboards, breakers and transformers price close to distributor levels because that is where they go back to.

The line-up that came out when the service was upgraded, the transformer swapped for a larger unit, the MCC replaced with drives. Retired equipment is the core of the used market and is usually worth far more than the yard price your demolition contractor quoted.

What if the equipment is old or has no test records?
We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Pine Hills equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
Are you insured to work inside our Pine Hills facility?
Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Pine Hills. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Pine Hills?
Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Pine Hills are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.
