Equipment bought for a project that changed, spare gear ordered for a line that was retired, and warehouse stock nobody can account for anymore. New-in-crate switchgear, panelboards, breakers and transformers price close to distributor levels because that is where they go back to.

The line-up that came out when the service was upgraded, the transformer swapped for a larger unit, the MCC replaced with drives. Retired equipment is the core of the used market and is usually worth far more than the yard price your demolition contractor quoted.

Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Anchorage?
Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Anchorage are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.
What happens to the equipment after you buy it?
Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.
Do you buy equipment that is still energized and in service?
Yes, and most of what we buy is. We quote it now and remove it on your cutover date. Telling us at the quote stage which Anchorage assets are still live lets us build the phasing and the clearance coordination into the schedule from the beginning.
