Bus Plugs buyers serving Green Bay

Paper mills, foundries and food processing across Wisconsin run heavy MCC and busway installations, and mill consolidation in the Fox River valley regularly releases complete electrical scopes. For Green Bay specifically that density helps: crews already move through Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay and Kenosha, so mobilization is a scheduling question rather than a cost problem.

If the Green Bay equipment is still carrying load we phase it — dead sections and spares first, distribution as circuits are released, the main line-up on the final clearance. The phasing is written into the offer so nobody improvises in an energized room at two in the morning.

What we take out of Green Bay sites

Fusible switch plugs

Square D I-Line, GE Spectra and Armor-Clad, Eaton Pow-R-Way, Siemens, Westinghouse, ITE and Bulldog fusible plugs from 30 A to 800 A. Clean stabs, an intact interlock and a working handle mechanism are what separate a reusable plug from a copper recovery item.

Circuit-breaker and starter plugs

Breaker plugs, combination motor starter plugs, ground-fault plugs, transformer plugs and cable tap boxes. Combination starter plugs in particular are hard to source new and hold value well even at older vintages.

Green Bay questions

Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?

No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Green Bay room is still partly live we phase the work.

How do you handle transformer oil in Green Bay?

Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Green Bay and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.

When do we get paid?

Before the equipment leaves your Green Bay dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.

What if the equipment is old or has no test records?

We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Green Bay equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.

Are you insured to work inside our Green Bay facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Green Bay. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
