Bus Duct & Busway we buy in Miami
Hurricane-season generator turnover keeps standby sets and transfer switches moving through Florida year-round, and phosphate, citrus and power-plant retirements add transformers and MV switchgear. Our purchasing desk is based in South Florida. For Miami specifically, that density helps: crews already move through Miami, Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville, so mobilization is a scheduling question rather than a cost problem.
For Miami sites we quote two ways when it helps: a single number for the scope as it stands, and a line-by-line itemization showing what the switchgear, the transformers, the busway and the cable each contribute. Some teams need the lump sum to move an approval; others need the detail for their asset records. You can have both.

What it is worth
Copper is the floor under most of this equipment, and it is a floor that moves. Bus bar, windings and feeder cable set a minimum value we can always pay on a Miami lot; resale demand for the specific make and model is what lifts the offer above it. Obsolete bus plugs and discontinued panelboard interiors are the clearest example — unglamorous parts that plants cannot buy new anywhere.

Questions
Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?
No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Miami room is still partly live we phase the work.
How do you handle transformer oil in Miami?
Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Miami and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.
When do we get paid?
Before the equipment leaves your Miami dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.
What if the equipment is old or has no test records?
We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Miami equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
