Transfer Switches we buy in Memphis
Our Tennessee routing runs along I-40, I-24, I-65 and I-75, which keeps trailer and crew cost predictable on Memphis projects. Utility territory matters too — TVA, Nashville Electric Service, Memphis Light Gas and Water each have their own clearance, metering and disconnect expectations, and we have worked inside them. TVA industrial territory across Memphis, Nashville and Chattanooga runs heavy manufacturing, and automotive supplier consolidation regularly releases full plant electrical scopes.
For Memphis sites we quote two ways when it helps: a single number for the scope as it stands, and a line-by-line itemization showing what the switchgear, the transformers, the busway and the cable each contribute. Some teams need the lump sum to move an approval; others need the detail for their asset records. You can have both.

What it is worth
Sometimes the equipment value exceeds our removal cost and you receive a check. On older, stripped or badly access-restricted Memphis scopes, the removal cost exceeds the value and the project nets near zero or a modest fee. You hear which one you are looking at up front rather than halfway through the teardown.

Questions
Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?
No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Memphis room is still partly live we phase the work.
How do you handle transformer oil in Memphis?
Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Memphis and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.
When do we get paid?
Before the equipment leaves your Memphis dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.
What if the equipment is old or has no test records?
We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Memphis equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
