Manhattan, NY: Wire & Cable Purchase and Removal
We purchase wire and cable throughout Manhattan and the surrounding New York market — units still energized and scheduled for replacement, equipment already sitting dead after an upgrade, and lots coming out of a full plant closure. We buy the gear and we do the removal: one company, one offer, one certificate of insurance.

Wire & Cable we buy in Manhattan
We treat New York as one service area rather than a list of towns. Crews moving between Manhattan, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany pass through Manhattan regularly, which is why a single transformer or a pallet of bus plugs is still worth quoting here — we add it to an existing run instead of pricing a dedicated trip.
Once an offer is accepted in Manhattan we schedule around your outage window, not ours. Nights, weekends and phased removals are normal. Crews arrive with their own rigging, skates, lifts, torches and oil-handling equipment, pull the gear, protect your floors and leave the electrical room clear for the next trade.

What it is worth
Copper is the floor under most of this equipment, and it is a floor that moves. Bus bar, windings and feeder cable set a minimum value we can always pay on a Manhattan lot; resale demand for the specific make and model is what lifts the offer above it. Obsolete bus plugs and discontinued panelboard interiors are the clearest example — unglamorous parts that plants cannot buy new anywhere.
New York note
Manhattan building renovations mean busway risers, meter stacks and switchboards removed through freight elevators on overnight dock windows, while upstate paper, steel and chemical plant closures release full substations.

Questions
Do you provide documentation for surplus property or audit records?
Yes. Itemized purchase agreements, weight tickets, bills of lading, oil disposal manifests and recycling documentation are standard on Manhattan purchases. Public agencies and audited facilities get the paperwork their process requires without having to ask twice.
Do you actually buy electrical equipment in Manhattan, or just broker it?
We buy it. Industrial Electrical Buyer is the purchaser of record — we fund the purchase, send our own crews to Manhattan to disconnect and load, and take title when the equipment leaves your dock. There is no third party behind us waiting to approve the price.
What is the smallest job you will take in Manhattan?
A single transformer, one switchgear section, a pallet of bus plugs or a few boxes of breakers is worth a call. Because we route crews across New York continuously, small Manhattan pickups usually get added to an existing run rather than priced as a dedicated trip.
How fast can you get to a Manhattan site?
Written offers go out the same business day in nearly every case. After acceptance, typical mobilization to Manhattan is a few business days for a straightforward removal and one to two weeks for a full plant scope that needs phasing, rigging plans or utility coordination.
