Las Vegas, NV: Load Banks Purchase and Removal

Load Banks coming out of a Las Vegas facility is worth quoting even when it is decades old. Condition, whether the model is still supported and copper content move the number far more than age, and we will tell you honestly whether your units resell into service or price closer to recovered metal.

Load Banks we buy in Las Vegas

Las Vegas sits in Nevada, where NV Energy, Valley Electric Association feed the load and I-15, I-80 and US-95 carry the freight. Both facts land in your number: a site near those corridors costs us less to service and the saving shows up in the offer rather than our margin. Las Vegas, Reno, Sparks and Henderson are regular stops, and Las Vegas work routes with them.

If the Las Vegas equipment is still carrying load, we phase it. Usually that means dead sections and spares first, then distribution as circuits are released, then the main line-up once the last feeder is isolated. The phasing goes into the offer so nobody is improvising in an energized room at two in the morning.

What it is worth

Sometimes the equipment value exceeds our removal cost and you receive a check. On older, stripped or badly access-restricted Las Vegas scopes, the removal cost exceeds the value and the project nets near zero or a modest fee. You hear which one you are looking at up front rather than halfway through the teardown.

Nevada note

Mining operations in the north and gaming and warehouse construction in the south create two very different markets: portable substations and trailing cable in one, switchboards and busway risers in the other.

Questions

Are you insured to work inside our Las Vegas facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Las Vegas. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.

Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Las Vegas?

Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Las Vegas are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.

What happens to the equipment after you buy it?

Serviceable gear is tested, reconditioned where needed and resold as replacement equipment — that resale is what funds your offer. What cannot go back into service is dismantled for copper, aluminum and steel recovery through permitted processors, with regulated fractions documented.

Do you buy equipment that is still energized and in service?

Yes, and most of what we buy is. We quote it now and remove it on your cutover date. Telling us at the quote stage which Las Vegas assets are still live lets us build the phasing and the clearance coordination into the schedule from the beginning.
