Detroit, MI: Bus Plugs Purchase and Removal
We purchase bus plugs throughout Detroit and the surrounding Michigan market — units still energized and scheduled for replacement, equipment already sitting dead after an upgrade, and lots coming out of a full plant closure. We buy the gear and we do the removal: one company, one offer, one certificate of insurance.

Bus Plugs we buy in Detroit
Detroit sits in Michigan, where DTE Energy, Consumers Energy, Lansing BWL feed the load and I-75, I-94, I-96 and I-696 carry the freight. Both facts land in your number: a site near those corridors costs us less to service and the saving shows up in the offer rather than our margin. Detroit, Grand Rapids, Southfield and Lansing are regular stops, and Detroit work routes with them.
For Detroit sites we quote two ways when it helps: a single number for the scope as it stands, and a line-by-line itemization showing what the switchgear, the transformers, the busway and the cable each contribute. Some teams need the lump sum to move an approval; others need the detail for their asset records. You can have both.

What it is worth
Sometimes the equipment value exceeds our removal cost and you receive a check. On older, stripped or badly access-restricted Detroit scopes, the removal cost exceeds the value and the project nets near zero or a modest fee. You hear which one you are looking at up front rather than halfway through the teardown.
Michigan note
Automotive plant consolidations around Detroit put more MCC buckets, busway and unit substations on the market than anywhere else in the Midwest, and we buy whole plant electrical scopes there routinely.

Questions
When do we get paid?
Before the equipment leaves your Detroit dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.
What if the equipment is old or has no test records?
We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Detroit equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
Are you insured to work inside our Detroit facility?
Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Detroit. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
Can you work nights, weekends or during a shutdown in Detroit?
Regularly. Most electrical removals happen outside production hours because that is when circuits can be released. Night, weekend, holiday and turnaround windows in Detroit are normal scheduling for us, not a premium service.
