Cincinnati, OH: Bus Plugs Purchase and Removal
We purchase bus plugs throughout Cincinnati and the surrounding Ohio market — units still energized and scheduled for replacement, equipment already sitting dead after an upgrade, and lots coming out of a full plant closure. We buy the gear and we do the removal: one company, one offer, one certificate of insurance.

Bus Plugs we buy in Cincinnati
Ohio's steel, glass, rubber and automotive base created a deep installed inventory of General Electric and Westinghouse switchgear and busway, and the state's freight position makes consolidation efficient. For Cincinnati specifically, that density helps: crews already move through Columbus, New Albany, Dublin, Cleveland and Cincinnati, so mobilization is a scheduling question rather than a cost problem.
The sequence on a Cincinnati job is short. You send nameplate photos or a list. We come back the same business day with a written itemized offer and a proposed removal window. If you accept, we survey access — door widths, floor loading, dock height, whether the room is still energized — then mobilize, lock out, disconnect, unbolt, rig, load and sweep. Payment lands before the trailer leaves.

What it is worth
Sometimes the equipment value exceeds our removal cost and you receive a check. On older, stripped or badly access-restricted Cincinnati scopes, the removal cost exceeds the value and the project nets near zero or a modest fee. You hear which one you are looking at up front rather than halfway through the teardown.

Questions
Do you buy equipment that is still energized and in service?
Yes, and most of what we buy is. We quote it now and remove it on your cutover date. Telling us at the quote stage which Cincinnati assets are still live lets us build the phasing and the clearance coordination into the schedule from the beginning.
Our electrical room is in a basement with a tight door. Is that a problem?
It is routine. Switchgear sections, transformers and gensets frequently have to be cut down or partially disassembled to clear a door width, an elevator limit or a stair turn. The access survey at your Cincinnati site establishes the path before we commit to a date, and that cost is already inside the offer.
Will you take the equipment we cannot sell along with the good items?
Yes, and this is usually why sellers choose us. Cherry-picking leaves you holding the leftovers of the leftovers. We price the Cincinnati lot as a whole — good gear, obsolete gear and the scrap fraction together — so the electrical room ends up genuinely empty.
Do you provide documentation for surplus property or audit records?
Yes. Itemized purchase agreements, weight tickets, bills of lading, oil disposal manifests and recycling documentation are standard on Cincinnati purchases. Public agencies and audited facilities get the paperwork their process requires without having to ask twice.
