Boston, MA: Generators Purchase and Removal

We purchase generators throughout Boston and the surrounding Massachusetts market — units still energized and scheduled for replacement, equipment already sitting dead after an upgrade, and lots coming out of a full plant closure. We buy the gear and we do the removal: one company, one offer, one certificate of insurance.

Generators we buy in Boston

Massachusetts industry gives Boston projects a real secondary market close by. Hospital and university essential-power upgrades across greater Boston free up standby generators, isolated power panels and switchgear, and dense urban sites make removal planning the whole job. Equipment that leaves your site frequently goes back into service within a few hundred miles of where we picked it up, and that is what lets us pay above metal value.

The sequence on a Boston job is short. You send nameplate photos or a list. We come back the same business day with a written itemized offer and a proposed removal window. If you accept, we survey access — door widths, floor loading, dock height, whether the room is still energized — then mobilize, lock out, disconnect, unbolt, rig, load and sweep. Payment lands before the trailer leaves.

What it is worth

Transformer oil is the item sellers in Boston worry about most, and fairly so. We test it, drain it, manifest it through licensed handlers and hand you the documentation. PCB-suspect units are handled under their own waste profile. The cost of that handling is already inside the offer, so nothing surprises you after the fact.

Questions

How do you handle transformer oil in Boston?

Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Boston and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.

When do we get paid?

Before the equipment leaves your Boston dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.

What if the equipment is old or has no test records?

We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Boston equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.

Are you insured to work inside our Boston facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Boston. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
